Fresh start

Year 12 is getting to the pointy end so I’ve been investiating tertiary education avenues. Looking up unis and tafe and all sorts of things looking for somethihng that is achievable and interests me

1. Fine arts (what can you do with that is typical response when mentioned)

2. Art hustory (same response as above)

3. Biology (didn’t do normal maths and chemistry grr)

4. Horticulture – tafe

5. theatre and set design

6. Nutrition and Dietetics

Really looking at Uni of Western Australia.

I took up ashtanga  yoga this year and it has thoroughly altered my outlook on life and my focus on work and my body. I can bend in all these ways I didn’t think I would be able to. I can have my legs crossed in front of my face and be supporting myself off the ground on my arms at the same time. It’s amazing how much you focus for 2 hours and forget the world outside. Maybe I’ll become a yoga teacher, that would be fulfilling but maybe a little skint on the cash…
